ILLUSTRATION and PAINTING

I create hand drawn illustrations or paintings, working with the clients needs. From business card size labels to two story murals, I can work in a variety of mediums and create something unique inspired by your vision!

I have done murals for residential and commercial buildings, painted portraits of people and their loved ones, created newspaper illustrations for articles and worked on many product labels for cideries and other US businesses.

LOGO DESIgn

Working with pen and ink, paints and Adobe Illustrator I can create an iconic image and design package for your company. My style looks authentic and individual. We would work together to create a design that compliments the energy and style your company already embodies.

NATURAL DYING

I have 5+ years experience as a natural dyer of wool, silk, linen and cotton fabrics. I work with a large spectrum of dyes and can do small batches of yardage or other materials for your business.

Below you will see eye pillow yardage I dyed for a client. I hand carved block prints, printed and naturally dyed with coreopsis, onion skins, madder root and indigo.

in 2024 Kira designed the new merch art for Jeff co farmers markets. This design was printed on tote bags, T-shirts, hoodies and as Stickers.

SMALL BUSINESSES and LOGO DESIGN

DEEP ROOTS BOTANICALS

Kira collaborated with Vedros Studio to turn her designs for Deep Roots Botanicals into block printed and hand dyed linen yardage. The fabric was dyed with madder, onion skins, weld, and coreopsis that Kira grew from seed. The prints were hand carved based on Meryl Vedros’ designs and sewn by a seamstress into herbal eye pillows for the sustainable skincare brand.
